Err......is it TELUMENDIL?
TELUMENDIL was a stellar constellation. Any idea which one or has galactic motion stirred the stars up so much that things are now meaningless. Question Smilie
That wasen“t Tolkien related was it Perwing? I thought this was only Tolkien related things....tell me if it isn“t so!

Thank you!

Quote:
She (Varda) took the silver dews from the vats of Telperion, and therewith she made new stars and brighter against the coming of the Firstborn; wherefore she whose name out of the deeps of time and the labours of Eä was Tinallė, the Kindler, was called after by the Elves Elentįri, Queen of the Stars, Carnil and Luinil, Nénar and Lumbar, Alcarinquė and Elemmirė she wrought in that time, and many other of the ancient stars she gathered together and set as signs in the heavens of Arda: Wilwarin, Telumendil, Soronśmė, and Anarrima; and Menelmacar with his shining belt (Orion?) that forebodes the Last Battle that shall be at the end of days. And high in the north as a challenge to Melkor she set the crown of seven mighty stars to swing, Valacirca, the Sickle of the Valar and the sign of doom.

'Of the Coming of the Elves and the Captivity of Melkor'

A R _ E N S T _ N E
Moderator Smilie Grondy suggests that only words from the book* indices (English versions only) be used in this game.

And when you present a word, add your blanks, then on the line below, write it out, check the spelling, ensure you have the right number of blanks, and only then erase the answer.

I think if you do this you will preclude some of the above confusion.

* The Hobbit, LotR, The Silmarillion, UT, and Atlas of Middle Earth.

is there an "o"
My guess is the Arkenstone which lays upon Thorin's breast.
Right it is, Rednell, it is Arkenstone. The baton has passed to you.

I am sorry, Perwing, there was not supposed to be a w, in my rush I guess I just deleted the no before w. Really sorry about the confusion caused. Sad Smilie

BTW, what do you mean Grondmaster? If you mean that I do not check it properly, well, I write it down and count the number of letters to make sure I did it correctly. Though, I gotta admit I really scr*w up this time.

Once again, sorry about the multiple mistakes.
