If you could be a character in ANY book (not necessarily LOTR), who would you be & why?
Well I think Bilbo had a very interesting life and I wouldn't mind enduring what he went through. And he had a great ending.
Bilbo sounds nice.
maybe Merry or Pippin
I think I would be Frodo.
I understand him better.
Maeglin. I like his Wertherian streaks.
Lucy frome the LLW sounds like a fun character to me, although she sort of never grows up. But I guess that's part of the fun!
PS: the Witch was also a cool character.
Quick Ben from the Malazan Book of the Fallen - he's a really cool and clever wizard
Sir Percy Blakeney, the hero of Baroness Emmuska Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel.
''We seek him here, we seek him there,
Those Frenchies seek him everywhere.
Is he in heaven?
—Is he in hell?
That demmed, elusive Pimpernel.''
He was a rich clothes-horse (dandy), that got the girl in the end (his own wife), and saved many people from Madame Guillotine.
Meursault, of L'étranger by Albert Camus. I like how he comes to terms with himself and the world before he gets hanged.
I would like to be Claire Beauchamp Randall in the book Dragonfly in Amber ( the author -Diana Gabaladon )She lives in the year 1946 but visit the mini Stonehenge in the highland in Scottland the graves and is suddenly back in the year 1747 when the battle between Scottland and England took place in Inverness ...
I guess I've already given it away. It might of course be Celeborn
, Lord of Lórien an interesting life with Galadriel as being a spouse with eternal wisdom. Being more than middleaged in this life; I am of course very interested in Grey Havens.
I think I would Luthien, ok so a bit of an obvious choice but I am a sucker for a romantic story! Plus she has a interesting life and in the end she lives happily ever after.
Hmmm, Darth Vader is a good choice in my oppinion, with all the evil and stuff, or maybe i could write a book and make up the perfect character for me......
The Witch King. He had interesting life. And killed most of the Dunedains.
Velvet (Liselle) from the Malloreon. Wouldn't be denied the fun of adventure and I'd get to pester Silk...
