I thought this might be a nice game... Complete the proverb! Whoever gets it right can post a new one.

If you really think you have the answer, go ahead and start the next one so we don't waste two days worth of 'dead air' time waiting to be told we were right, before we finally post the next one to be guessed. Huh? What did I say? Does that make sense?

I thought that you were supposed to post the next proverb only if you got the previous one right. And obviously that wasn't right! Proverbs are not my speciality.
