Got one: What looses it's head every morning, but gets it back every night? (besides me, that is!)
A pillow. If you don't want to play, you don't have to, but it's no fun when I'm the only one!

What can you see in water that never gets wet?
(Your object here) in a wateproof, glass case?Very Mad Smilie
Someone answer her, because I have a really good one! I can't wait. Argh! I'll tell you anyway. So there's two riddles to solve now:

What can you see in water that can't get wet?

All my life I eat, but when i drink I die. Who am I?

Since I don't have anything, I'm pleased to let Loni do the honors.. Problem is I know Loni's also... Fire..

Very Mad Smilie MY SANITY Very Mad Smilie
Shadow? Judgement? Any astronomical object, provided the right frame of reference.

(Your object here) in a wateproof, glass case?

No, your reflection. GrevBukMcJern is good!
Thank you, thank you, CC! Big Smile Smilie

Keep em up, so that I can show off som more. Cool Smilie

(Psst! Remember to send me a PM with the answers this time too!)

A tree? It can't think, but it lives, and it sheds it's leaves or needles, but doesn't have hair. (I think, I'm really bad at this whole riddle thing)

A snake, assuming they can't think.

Quote:
What number comes next?
Could it possibly be 1111333221? I could be certain if you had given another set, but that's what it looks like. In which case it would probably be followed by ...

No that's all wet, I see it now, your next number is: 1113213211 and is probably followed by 31131211131221. Happy Elf Smilie

Can anyone else see how we arrived at these numbers Question Smilie
nope
Hint: Separate the numbers into two digit blocks starting from the left.

It is a very good puzzle and I only discovered the answer by giving up on higher math and moving outside the box to find their common denominators. Elf With a Big Grin Smilie
Grondy, I get you! Good on whoever invented that.

White is a tint. There's no such as dark white.

Here's a riddle from Riddles

A woman has 7 children. Half of them are boys. How is this possible?
This has been bugging me for days! I have no idea. Did one of them die sometime? It boggles the mind! Maybe, you could spare a hint?

Confused CŠno
maybe she has 3 boys, 3 girls and one grown son (who is no longer a boy??)
All seven of her children are boys. One-quarter of them are boys, one-half of them are boys, two-thirds of them are boys; however, none of them are girls. Orc Grinning Smilie

Next?

Could Friday be the name of his horse?

He is walking?
The men in the cabin died from heart attacks, or a contagious disease,or maybe a heart attack caused by stress related to claustraphobia?
pere is right on the nose.Ar-edain37 is trying. No, the men are not clostraphobic, there is no disease, and the heart attack happened on the other end of the world. Keep trying!!

Heehee. There's no space under the door, so therefore they run out of air.

Possibly the person who has the keys to the windows and door had a heart attack very far away, and the guys are stuck inside and die of hunger or else old age or something?
Hmm... just browsing through and I'm kinda stumped about this one too... how do they die?
Oh I had forgotten this thead, I'l just add my guess then. The two men are in a cabin of an air plane that crashes by accident?
Firkraag posted Monday 30th August 2004 (02:37pm) the following in the Prancing Pony. I moved it here towards better housekeeping.

I'll leave it to someone else to guess the answer to Firkraag's riddle, but I'll give a hint, one of its baby brothers is swimming in my glass as I write this.
