Partially Aldaradan, Crissaegrim are the mountains to the south of Gondolin and form a part of the Encircling Mountians, but that isn't the answer I want. Sorry. Try again.

Somehow I knew you wanted the "E" word but it seems as though the name "Crissaegrim" is used more often. Also I have checked and "Crissaegrim" is the only name given for those mountains on Tolkiens map in the Silmarillion.
