Yep, you have to do it manually, go back to your posts in that topic, and edit it, when in edit mode, uncheck the "Receive email notification of new replies?" box, and Bob's sleeping with your auntie.
Cheers PlasticSquirrel.

No worries, glad to be of help (s'what I'm here for)
Is that the same email address with which you registered; is your registered email address current? These are the only reasons I can see why you might not be getting the notices.

I'll send you an email to your registered address and see if you get it.

Maybe it's your junk mail filter? Check your junk box, or maybe the email notification doodad is playing up, I'll have a poke about with it later.

Which one?
Sorry Anilorak Sad Smilie some of us don't even know how to make our computers work let alone tell someone elses what is wrong with theirs. Some of we Council members don't even know how the website works internally either.
No, Tolkienmail.com is now defunct and Taz will replace it with Shiremail.com in the future. If you want more info on this read the top two threads under Website News.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If I have made several posts in the thread before I decide I no longer want notification, do I have to find my first post or will any one of my posts do the job?
I think you still have to find the first.

To stop the notifications, you will need to unclick any of the "Receive email...." boxes that you have clicked. If you have clicked the box on more than one post, you will need to find them all.
Bummer. Sad Smilie Good thing I usually only click box on the first post.
Thanks for your help.
