Thread: good fan fiction?
I stumbled across a site called TheLastHomelyHousekeeper.com which is a diary of the Elf who runs the housekeeping department in Rivendell. I had no idea there was any good Tolkien fan fiction out there. See if this link works (otherwise you can Google to find it):

That's an interesting concept! Back in 2004 there was a lot of good Tolkien fan fiction. Either that or I was too young to recognize that it was terrible fan fiction. I think this is because there weren't as many outlets for fanfiction back then and that people actually took more time with it. I'm sure there are still some good Tolkien fan fiction now, you just have to dig deep.
