PS. Sorry its in German.
Hobbiton seems to be coming back together quite nicely. 8-) I envy the people who get to tour in New Zealand now, before filming starts.
[i:1qkjy0c3]If[/i:1qkjy0c3] the filming ever starts!
Point taken. :P
I prefer this link on wierd sheds with the hobbit holes, petty, check out the tardis sheds 8-) [url:3oue1n95]http://www.tigersheds.com/articles_detail.asp?id=35[/url:3oue1n95]

So long as the TARDIS sheds are bigger on the inside you'll never run out of tool space. Although need to be careful the lawnmower doesn't fall into the swimming pool.

Hobbiton is being rebuilt but the movie doesn't have any director yet! :x
really fantastic!
Well, they started rebuilding Hobbit when everyone thought it would be GDT. I think that everyone on the project just wants things to be ready so they can start filming ASAP when the green light is given.
It upsets me that these sets which people devote themselves, meticulously building and decorating them to superb perfection over many labour intensive months, are just dismantled and demolished in less than a month. They should be left as monuments to the dedication of the people who participated in making the movie come alive. I hope they keep the sets this time after the Hobbit movie is done filming they are fantastic!

So do I, but due to NZ filming laws any structures built have to be taken down after filming. <img src='/images/smileys/sad.gif' border='0' alt='Sad Smilie' /> But the very amount of detail that has to be put into any middle earth set is monumental. I mean you cant just walk into any old prop shop and walk out with Tolkien's world. All has to be done from scratch.

I think their regretting selling off the old props to fans now  .
Well, If they want to make some good money, they should keep up at least Hobbiton (simply because I know that some places, such as Edoras, was built on a preserve or something like that) and create a national LOTR FILM tour. I'd fly to NZ to see that!
They kept a stripped-down version of the Hobbiton set after LOTR and did in fact do [url=http://www.hobbitontours.com/:1xgkmiac]tours[/url:1xgkmiac] there. Shame it wasn't the full thing, though.
