It's been so long I'd lost the answer... After tearing it apart and rebuilding it though, I guess the answer must have been LASSEMISTA, who was a Rowan tree of Fangorn, cut down by the Orcs of Isengard.
As for your's Perwing, I thought I'd got it with Thangorodrim, but the letters didn't quite fit.
Well, it could be either DRAGONTHORN or THORNDRAGON; however, I don't know where either of those appear in the stories.
So I guess I will settle on NARGOTHROND.

You got it ElberethGilthoniel and I have the answer to yours; however in the sense of fairness I will give the others 24 hours to work it out for themselves.
Still, according to our previous examples, a multi-word puzzle has had each word anagramed with a space separating the words; however, as you have mixed
all the letters together you might have separated the words with slashes or said "
three words".

That's how I found and researched it; hope the hint doesn't help too much--I doubt if anyone will read the three chapters just to find the solution.
Another hint for you.
The hobbit who got tagged with this nickname was the mayor who preceded Sam's seven terms.
Will Whitfoot preceeded Sam, but I don't know the nickname.

Arcormacolindóva you are correct, but many of us have to use our character maps the get the special characters and thus we have been just using the 26 letter alphabet ignoring that there is a difference between é, ê, ë, and e.
Ok, now I see, Grondy. Thanx for telling me! It's hard to remember the diversity in here; it feels like one big family.
