Better Days

My last journal entry was about finding a tumor on my daughter's dog and I thought I would write an update since the situation is now much better than we could have hoped.

Max's toe was removed and he did wonderfully; he never complained a bit as he stumped around with his foot in a cast. He healed up perfectly and is back to his usual loveable self. Best of all, the biopsy on the toe showed no cancer cells after all, none of any kind. The suspicious looking chest xray was read by an oncologist who said there was nothing to worry about there too. Tomorrow there will be another set of xrays taken just to make sure,but we think all is well there too.

What a relief! It was quite the emotional roller coaster for us, though, and I was just drained after it was over. I'm still pretty tired and have been thinking of you all here but just haven't had energy to do much typing.

The project I worked on where I sold some items I had made on eBay was a rousing success and I have orders for more so that's keeping me busy too but its nice to have work and a little income.
