The world keeps turning

And another hello....
It's strange to come back again, reading the old journal entries and looking at the forum. Time has slipped away from me again - I'm now 27, been married for 18 months and still in my head no older than when I first started coming on this board. I must be doing something wrong.... Where is the wisdom? The maturity?
I'll give it some more time.
My path back here was unpredicted and unplanned. I have been reading the Chronicles on the Unbeliever on the bus, and of course that lead back to Tolkien. Listening to the FotR soundtrack on my computer one evening led to a thought about this site, which led me to typing in the address and hitting enter.
Which brings me back here again.
I'm happy to see chat back in some form, though not working this evening for some reason. And I'm happy to be back too. I'm happy that Taz again owns this site, and I'm happy that Rednell has another puppy, and I'm happy that the banner has changed.
I keep leaving, and I still keep coming back - hopefully planet-tolkien doesn't feel I don't care, and we can still be friends in future, if not as close as we used to be. I think this board belongs more to other people now, the ones who have shown up in the past few years. I'm still remembering old times too much. I'll get over it at some point. This is how it's meant to be. Nothing should stay the same, and that includes websites.
I'm think about heading off to Rivendell in the next couple of weekends for a walk - or the place where it was filmed anyway (Kaitoke Park for any Kiwis reading this) Hoping to see elves, guess I haven't grown up that much at all really.
Still love you all.
