Shelob could have been a bit more realistic. They should have gotten that Aragog spider from the Harry Potter movie. There's only room enough in this buisiness for one oversized and over acting aracnid!

God did not 'get there'. You are thinking of God's existence in terms of Time (we are unable to comprehend otherwise). However, this is wrong. God is eternal, meaning that he exists outside the constraints of time. He did not have to 'get there' to be there.
