...and a Balrog in a Mallorn Tree!

Okay, bear with me here. It is 2 AM and this looks like it works, but I may think otherwise in the light of day, as I only spent an hour on it.

(Go to the twelfth day to see if it is singable.) :merryxmas:
THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

One the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
A Palantír in a Tall Tower.

One the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Two Oliphaunts.

One the third day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Three Stone Trolls.

One the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Four Farthing Stones .

One the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Fi-ve Mal--lorn Tree--ees.

One the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Six Swanships Sailing.

One the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me: Seven Stars a Shine-ning.

One the eighth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eight Elven Maidens.

One the ninth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Nine Nazgûls Prancing.

One the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Ten Hobbits Dancing.

One the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eleven Lordlings Elven.

One the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Twelve Dwarves a Delving.

Eleven Lordlings Elven,

Ten Hobbits Dancing,

Nine Nazgûls Prancing,

Eight Elven Maidens,

Seven Stars a Shine-ning,

Six Swanships Sailing,

Fi-ve Mal--lorn Tree--ees,

Four Farthing Stones,

Three Stone Trolls,

Two Oliphaunts,

And a Palantír in a Tall Tower.
I hope that meets with your pleasure. I had fun writing it. :merryxmas:

Ok here's mine, I tried to use as many exact numbers from LOTR as I could.

One the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
A Dark Lord on his dark throne.

One the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Two magic swords.

One the third day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Three Stone Trolls.

One the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Four Barrow Blades.

One the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Five Is-tar-i

One the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Six elves a weeping.

One the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me: Seven stones of seeing.

One the eighth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eight Wraiths a burning.

One the ninth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Nine men out walking.

One the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Ten Dwarves still living.

One the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eleven deadly weapons.

One the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Twelve orcs out hunting.

Eleven deadly weapons.

Ten dwarves still living.

Nine men out walking.

Eight Wraiths a burning.

Seven stones of seeing.

Six elves a weeping.

Five Is-tar-i.

Four Barrow blades.

Three stone trolls.

Two magic swords.

And a Dark Lord of his dark throne.

And there you are!

Heh, very good. I've been racking my brains for a good 5 for the last year, why the heck didn't the Istari ever occur to me?

Cuddly Badgers go to both Grondy and Stonehelm (though Stonehelm's is slightly cuddlier than Grondy's) keep 'em coming.

This sure sounds like fun! :orcgin:

I don't know this song of yours, but I made this out of it:

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
One dragon, fiery and powerful

On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Two elven-brothers

On the third day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Three Silmarils, set in a crown

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Four dwarves with rhyming names

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Five hobbits, merry and glad

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Six ponies, wise and fair

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Seven Rings for the Dwarf-lords

On the eighth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eight Nazgul on wraths

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Nine fellows a shipping

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Ten men on horses

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Eleven stupid questions of a silly hobbit

One the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
Twelve Elves in a dark wood

Eleven stupid questions of a silly hobbit

Ten men on horses

Nine fellows a shipping

Eight Nazgul on wraths

Seven Rings for the Dwarf-lords

Six ponies, wise and fair

Five hobbits, merry and glad

Four dwarves with rhyming names

Three Silmarils, set in a crown

Two elven-brothers

And one dragon, fiery and powerful

:funnylaugh: Doesn't make sense, does it? :funnylaugh:
