Hello!

Hello everyone! :D

My name is Mike. I'm from Michigan(USA). I work as a massage therapist but I am completing my BA majoring in Automotive Aftermarket/Business Management at Northwood University.

I have been a huge fan of LOTR and The Hobbit for longer than I can remember. The Hobbit was the first "real" book that I ever read.

I thought I would join the forum to keep tabs on the latest gossip concerning the Hobbit movie. I used to manage movie theaters and I am a huge movie nut. I hope that I can score a copy of the one sheet(poster) to complete the collection that I have for LOTRs. I also have all of the original previews on 35mm film. Unfortunatly the digital revolution will prevent me from ever owning a copy of The Hobbit preview when it come out.

ahh, that's really awesome that you have the previews on 35mm. Those will be worth a LOT someday. They're probably worth something now, actually.

But anyways: welcome! I can't wait to get to know you!

Last time I check the 35mm previews were going for $150-300. The teaser poster for the "Fellowship"(the one with just the ring in bilbo's hand) goes for upwards of a grand. I'll probably use the collection as my daughter college fund in about 15 years.
