Not as such; however, his son Bergil is ten years old and I doubt if Beregond married before he was twenty, having to first become a journeyman Man-at-arms before he could afford a family. Therefore I would estimate Beregond to be 30-40 years old and thus he could have watched Faramir, who I would put in his late twenties, grow up from a vantage of a few years. :teacher:Though I never thought of Beregond as having watched Faramir grow up, does it say that he is that old in the book?
I have always liked this character. I have always had this burning question: Beregond seems to know Faramir very well, were they friends?
