Crispy Cremes

.
Okay, I already revealed my fave Hobbit breakfast on the M.E. thread, so I'll go straight to Hobbit dinner: Main course--Roast Beef well done dripping with thick dark gravy and layered with bacon and sauteed onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes, Shire Pudding (Yorkshire wasn't invented then

, google Yorkshire pudding if you don't know what it is), Roast Potatoes, Carrots, Peas, Cauliflower (or broccoli), slabs of sweet "French" (France wasn't invented then either) baguettes with butter and Huntsman Cheese. A salad to start with Minas Tirith dressing (I'm guessing Minas Tirith is in the vicinity of modern Italy, hence Italian dressing), Clam Chowder as the second course.
To Drink with dinner: Sweet Apple Cider and Red Wine
For appetizers potato crisps (chips to Americans), carrot and celery sticks and onion dip, chunks of Sharp Cheshire cheese (or the Shire equivalent).
Dessert: Vanilla Ice Cream with chocolate swirls, strawberries, whipped cream and apple crumble pie.
Second Dessert: Chocolate Chip cookies, mince pies, jam and cream tarts.
Dessert Drink: Hot Chocolate topped with whipped cream spiked liberally with Kahlua.
Before bed: Hefty dose of Pepto Bismol
