Charity...ooops Community Shield results:
Liverpool 0 - 1 Arsenal
Think I'll support Roma from now on. I've gone off Arsenal somewhat...we're too successful. No competition - no fun.....
Ooooh, I hope the scum get knocked out of the Champions League.
PREMIERSHIP STARTS TOMMORROW!!!!!!!! WHO'S EXCITED? COME ONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
It will be Ajax for sure ... in my dreams...
Btw when is he NFL starting?
Btw when is he NFL starting?
what ever its called... SOCCER to me! not that my american football game uses its feet all that much but hey!
ok, i lied, i get about two or three games a week here.. at odd times that im never sure of... I have no idea how the league works, or who does what.. I do understand the game though.. sorta.. im a bit rusty! Luckily Mithril Blade follows it and teaches me! I believe Arsenal would be her team of choice!
*looks down the Premiership table*
OooOoooohhh! It's a long way down! I'm feeling dizzy!
Well, it's not often I get to gloat on one like that.... And well done to Bolton mid-week too. Wouldn't it be great if Sir Alex's bubble has burst at last. Pity about the Gunners though... and Liverpool and Chelsea and Spurs.... Get rid of a few of them, and Leeds might stand a chance of winning something.
I'd also just like to say Chelsea 3 Newcastle 0. Thank you, thank you very much.
And Ferrari did win in Italy! It's getting a bit boring, innit?
MIAMI DOLPHINS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30-3.. TAKE THAT JETS!
Stilll n° one here!
I think I might just crawl under a stone and die.
Cameraderie? In Defeat? bwahahaha!
Again Wednesday lost and it won't be long before Yorath goes.
Watched the England match on Saturday against Slovakia.
Allthough England won,it was an awful match and England played crap. They certainly need to play better if they're to qaulify.

It's the first match I'd been to for 28 years. Boston are bottom of the league, and after several seasons of narrowly avoiding relegation, Torquay are currently at the lofty heights of second in the league. When we went a goal down after 6 minutes I thought we were in for a hammering, but in the second half we were all over them and finished up winning 2 - 1.
We're now second from bottom, but if we hadn't had four points deducted before the season even began, we'd be third from bottom. GO BOSTON!!!!
Anyway, seeing them all over Torquay has given me hope that we might manage to stay up this season :praying:

You hate Arsenal as well? I like you more every day mate!

Let me guess, you support Spurs or Man U? I support the later, though Anal are a good team.
WTF, has my reply got anal? Maybe the first 4 words were edited, in that case sorry. let's just refer to them as the losers. Or idiots. Or other more... rude terms, that are not allowed on this board.
Arsenal already have Arse in their name, which is just fine. Man U fan though, I'm afraid you've just gone down in my estimation. Shame. I'm a Chelsea man myself (at this point, as a responsible council member I should suggest we head to the Footie anyone? thread in the Forsaken Inn, but I can't be bothered).
And the Dance of Joy was just frightening
Well, I am a scary guy. *Cue over-dramatic music*
We had a P.S.E officer in a school today, adn he wanted to lecture all sixth formers on drugs etc. Everyone was being serious, asking question and I ask him why the police recruitment adverts are so **** , and why we just don't have a picture of the police beating up a man with a baton, and how by telling peopel that if you join the police not only do you get a shiny new stick but you also get to at people up with it. Bloody hilarious, i really think the policeman hates me, since i asked other, more embarrsing, adult questions. Why am I telling you this? Because i'm a twat. Just though you anted to read a story of me making a fool of myself. Woo-hoo, it's half-tem! *his Commences happy dance*

Indy, winding up the police is never a good idea, trust me I speak from experience (can you say "Police Harrassment"?) But half term is not a good thing for the rest of the world, trust me.
If they hadn't deducted 4pts off us before the season even started, we'd be about 16th now. At this rate, we might even survive our first season in the league.
Must admit, we're struggling a bit now though.
Having held up the third division for most of the season, Boston have had a little late season winning spree that has ensured our survival, and given us the chance to prop up the English League again next year.
Hey How's Rushden&Diamonds doin'?
I am currently unable to contain my sorrow, because Luton Town have been bought by an as yet unknown corporation, Joe Kinnear (manager) has been sacked, after doing such an excellent job over the last two seasons, and Mike Watson Challis (eccentric chairman) has resigned after suffering losses of Ł29m because of the club.
And yes, Aster, Rushden won the Second Division and will have the honour of being hammered by Luton next season.
erm.. this has something to do with soccer doesnt it...
No, it's about football. What is this soccer thing you speak of...???
Looks like the Womens World Cup Finals are going to be played in the USA again, instead of China due to the SARS scare.
And it is football not soccer..I hate people who call it soccer it gets on my nerves..Football the Beautiful Game.
Not Soccer The Beautiful Game doesn't sound right does it.
Manchester United our the one and only Champions...so says your leader.

And I watched some of that other tournament that was just on a little while ago.....I think it was between two Italian teams.
hehehe, I have to admit I love the antics - one player just gets touched and he goes down!!!! And when the ref doesn't call a penalty or anything he gets right back up as if nothing happened! Very funny
That's only the Italians and South Americans, as a rule. It p*sses the rest of the world off so much.
Ah so Emile Heskey, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Francis Jeffers are Italian and South Americans? The idea about the 'diving' culture in Seria A or amongst South American players ( Of whom there is a large base in Seria A, and La Liga though the figure is drastically smaller in the Premiership due to English immigration regulations, which are very strict in comparison to mainland Europe) is a pretty cliched idea-they may have been the instigators of the 'diving culture' but it has now spread across Europe.
Was it the Champions League final? Terrible game, that was.
Depends from which angle you are looking at it. It was a beautiful game in terms technical aspects and defence though I suppose you would have to be a annaly retentive Howard Wilkinson type to really enjoy that. But the battle between Gattuso and Davids was sublime.
But the battle between Gattuso and Davids was sublime.
Davids didn't play...
He was taken off in the Second Half, sometime close to the 60th minute I think. Thats when Gattuso, as the only *natural* holding defensive midfielder (Unless, Tacchinardi was playing, i think he was, but he is a different type of player from Davids, Gattuso etc, qand he hasn't impressed me that season as much as he has in his previous two) really began to come into his own.
I can search for the team-sheets if you don't believe me. (Unless you are htinking of Pavel Nedved, the left/center midfielder, whose banning for the final was quite well talked about. I feel sorry for him he worked so hard, and it reminds me of Keane's banning in the game against Bayern Munich in 1998-99)
