Well, I do now, but as an impressionable young 5 or 6 year old ( I don't remember exactly) I really, really liked Han Solo, and as such was not too impressed by Mr. Fett's behaviour. And Vader is, was and always will be the coolest character in any movie ever.
How lucky you were to get free stuff to burn!

Note: Kids; don't set fire to stuff for fun, it's not big and it's not clever and you can get seriously hurt. I recently witnessed how hurt my girlfriend's son got for setting fire to stuff in the house, it wasn't pretty
Ahh you mentioned Airfix kits. I used to be the model maker at Bury model shop and as such got cheap models to destroy in the fun that is throwing the out of your bedroom window after setting fire to it with your mums air freshener and a lighter.
But haow can you not like Boba Fett he was the best character in the series.

Michael, Bain_Diamondhands, congrats on your son. Watching him grow and learn things will be one of the most rewarding things you will ever experience in your life. My son is 8 yrs old now, and I am still facinated by watching the things he does. Are you getting any sleep?

I like your new nick. It is very nice. Your son's names are nice too. Jacob (Durin Graveears is his dwarven name)

Nice to meet you Stonehelma nd Gothan. Welcome to our wonderful little site. Hope you enjoy yourselves here.

18 over here. But I think most of you already know that.

What a coincidence! I'm 18 too! (A curiosly large number of 18-year-olds though)
And I'm a female and not a fruit(othervise I would have been roten long ago Big Laugh Smilie )

I once had a five year old orange: it was only a shell of its former self. (I had let it dry out in the refrigerator and then kept it in a dry and well lighted area, to prohibit mold development.)

The question one begs to ask is, Why? I've probably got five year old things rotting away at the back of my refrigerator, but your orange appears to have sufferered deliberate and premeditated abuse over a period of years. Had it done something really bad to upset you, Grondy, or where you attempting to perfect a method of mummification for a later date? Wink Smilie
It being Halloween, I'm reminded of a Pumpkin my aunt bought about a decade or so ago. She still has it! And it looks perfectly fine...Like it was just picked from the pumpkin patch. Petrified I suppose. She'll never have to buy a pumpkin again!
Returning to Anilorak.. WOW!!! I was SURE you are a girl and that your real name is Karolina (anilorak = karolina if read backwards...)!
Orange - I suspected you to be a boy!
Funny how one can be mistaken!!!

I once had a pint of McKewans that I kept for 6 years.... he was called Marvin mark 3

Wow! And I thought I did some funny things when I was younger. (like walking around the house dressed in cassette tape) Explanation, Grondy? (if there is any) Big Laugh Smilie

Boys/girls! I'm getting even more confused now than I was before! Too much to remember!

So Anilorak's a boy (like I thought) and Samwisegamgee's a 13-year-old female (didn't guess that). Probably our youngest member, right? Anyone under 13 around here? (before anyone else says it: theoretically speaking I'm supposed to be 18, but I may sound like a 12-year-old sometimes). Tongue Smilie
Ah, the joy of youth. I remember doing much the same, and it's odd you should mention Boba Fett, as I cut mine into tiny pieces with a hacksaw as soon as I saw what a git he was to Han Solo in the Empire Strikes Back. I don't think my Mum was too impressed as she'd just got me it as an Xmas pressie. Along with my pointy-armed Wookie (pencil-sharpener, if you're wondering) and many buried Storm-troopers (make a fortune, dig up the gardens of my old house) and suchlike. My old toys ain't worth squat now. Even my pair of Spidey Helicopters only have 2 rotors each.
and the airfix models (all filled with petrol and set light to, whilst flying through the garden) were probably a bad investment as well. I could go on, but I probably shouldn't.
Best to just mention that I am still a fully trained idiot, and anything I mention here, is probably best not attempted in your own home. Grondy's highlighter has been here. Elf With a Big Grin Smilie

Doing ages now? Ok. I am 17, seems like a lot of us are 17 and 18 here! So what kind of book is your brother writing Anilorak?

You scare me.
Actually the same thing happened to a lemon in my fridge. Poor thing was two years old when it ended up in dry plant composition.
Being mistaken in gender can reveal you a lot about stereotypes...
I am male, 19 years old, no children although i have cheecky 18 mounth old nephew, i have two Guinea Pigs (Humbug and Yogurt), one Rabbit (Sprout if anyone has seen monty python and the holy grail she was that rabbit's stunt double) and acase of acute insanity.

Okay, I'll tell mine, if you tell me yours. Elf Sticking Tounge Out Smilie

My explanation is the same as with Orange's lemon. It just got lost in the back of the refrigerator and when I finally discovered it, it had desiccated rather than decayed. Now about that cassette tape dress Tommie? Serching Smilie
Hello. I'm quite happy to tell anyone who's interested my age and gender, but I kinda like the prospect of seeing what you guys think first! whether you've got any preconceptions, or whether you're just going "who the hell is that!?"
yours waiting hopefully, Cirdan!
Okay, I'll give it a try, just don't be offended if I'm wrong (as I most likely will be). I think you are female, and around twenty.
Ooh, sounds cool, I'd love to be able to write a book. Whats he gonna call the book Anilorak?

I, by the way, am...a...GIRL!!!! *insert dramatic music here*
...Wait, haven't I said that on this thread before? Orc Going Huh Smilie Crikey! I can't remember!

Cirdan, I would guess that your are male, but I do have to agree with Samwise, that you are around 20 or so.

I still can't believe that Samwise is only 13. You are very articulate and intelligent, for one so young.

Big Laugh Smilie Ok I'll tell you. I have three big brothers, you must know. They're a lot older than me, so when I was little, they did all sorts of things with me. This was one of them. And I just let it happen. Big Laugh Smilie

No I'm not! But thanks anyway. Big Smile Smilie
Cirdan, unless I'm making totally wrong preconceptions about you and your Japanese girlfiend, I'd say you were male and about 23-25 (years not stones). I'm guessing you are English too although I don't know how that fits in with a Japanese girlfriend (difficult I assume).

And SamwiseGamgee, when you said you were 13, I assumed you were winding us up, or your birthday fell on February 29th. Smile Smilie
There's now't wrong with use chemistry to blow stuff up. Hence all my Action Men have limbs missing (little did I now they would become a collectors item, least I still have my Star Wars figures. Although one Boba Fett we did throw down the grid and spent three days trying to rescue him, never did though but I had two more).
Us bloke when younger are supposed to be reckless and dangerous why else would they illegally sell us fireworks when we are 12!
Damn! that gave it away really didn't it? Ok, yeah, i'm male and i'm 26 (and English!) Melliot and Samwise, good effort guys, Big Smile Smilie but definately not female, at least not last time I checked Animated Wink Smilie

So you know about Frank then? Good then you're on my side...
After reading this topic it's still not any clearer for who's male or female... But that doesn't really matter does it being male or female or the number you may wright behind your age?

Wow there are lots of lots of "new" members here since my last visit kewl

Ok, but we must take the poisoned bread immunity tablets and watch out for the mutated carrots with teeth. As king Frank is allied to Bertrand the Queen of the Rabbits of Bolton, there right on my right rear flank and I only have eight of the Muppets to protect me. How about taking your "Inside Info RPG" to a tavern. Happy Elf Smilie
Heh, sorry Grondy...
"You would overthrow the Dark Lord Pigeon, and in his place put up a Squirrel, beautiful, yet terrible etc. etc." (Not exact, but you get the gist) And that's my last word on the subject (or lack of)

This is no RPG. This is war in the north west of england
I been around a little while already but haven't really been bothered to post here till now, so in case you were wondering:
I've just turned 15 a few weeks ago and I'm female.

Oh, and some more random info: I'm a twin! Yay!
any other twins here?
unfortunately my brother is of the more 'scientific' nature and refuses to read books like LOTR because 'they're not realistic enough'... maybe I shoulden't have said 'yay' after all... *grins*
Hah! Well at least reading doen't involve blowing yourself up! (He's intrested in rocketry and makes small bombs and the like as well as having all his pots of gunpowder, zinc dust and sulpher sitting around the living room... hmmm - as far as dangerous hobbies goes...)

Welcome to our forum Meldiss. Happy Elf Smilie If you have any questions just ask.

Yes it was funny, but also sad for those involved.

Deal Smilie Never play with fire, the life you endanger is that of be your loved one, your pet, yourself, or maybe even me; not to mention, that with winter coming on, sleeping under the stars because your house burned down, can be a very cold and/or wet experiance. Lighening Smilie

Heh, does sound like me doesn't it? No, the house was fine, and he was fine, right up til we smacked his **** for being a pillock.
Giggles. Big Smile Smilie Ok past joke, but I was late in reading it. Still funny...

Yeah fire is a very pretty thing, but it's dangerous as well. We have a fireplace over here at my parents house, but it has a little glass door in front of it, so you can't get directly to the fire. But of course the glass gets very hot too. One day some of my parents friends came over, and they brought their dog with them. It was quite a chilly winter's day, so my father had lightened some wood in the fireplace, and a nice warm glow spread throughout the room. The dog was a very young, still very silly one, and he kept running up and down the living room, until he noticed the fireplace. It somehow fascinated him, and he became very quiet. He sat in front of it to watch it, and after a while nobody paid attention to him anymore. Until suddenly there was a yelp and the dog started running up and down the room, shaking his head and yelping terribly. He burned his nose at the glass door. Rolling Eyes Smilie
I didn't just use to burn stuff, I also used to shave my sisters Sindy dolls (not very clever when she is ten years older than you and six foot one! Beatings galore is the phrase that springs to mind.)
Just giving this thread a friendly bump!! Big Smile Smilie

Cool Smilie
LOL! I never noticed this thread at all for like...my entire membership here, and this thread is really cool and hilarious. As most of you would have already guessed by now, I am a male. Whoa! Shocking news ain't it? Wink Smilie

Anyways, I just wanna contribute my sadistic and morbidistic pleasures I derived from destroying my toys when I was young. Well...ever since I was like 6 yrs old I was known in my extended family as...."The Terminator". Toys always have a way of braking into pieces in my hands...I still remember my cousin, Erkenbrand's toys usually gets annilated by me. His precious GI Joe and Transformers collection will at constant peril from me, and if I remember correctly all his toys will destroyed by me except 2 and up to today, he even fears letting me touch his things...Did I mention that when he lend me his cool Onslaught saga comics I destroyed them too and many other expensive stuff.

Oh yeah! About the Han Solo-Carbonite thingy I tried to freeze my toys too. I usually just chuck my toys in the freezer filled with water and turn them to ice and that I would take them out and toss them around. As a result, half my toys are kinda rusty now. And I usually do the 3rd storey freefall with my toys, tossing them from heights, unimaginable....heh...I read Dragonball...k....you can't blame me. Tongue Smilie
And tried burning my toys once by the way....didn't work...did burn myself though... Big Smile Smilie
I'm 5271 days old.
(Since I last checked) Wink Smilie

And I'm a lady. Big Smile Smilie
