(From The Fellowship of the Ring movie. And btw, I know that Legolas didn't speak in the council in the book, but this incident is significant)
I don't remember the exact situation in the book. But, I don't remember any such incident happening in the counsil of Elrond. (Correct me if I'm wrong please.) I do however remember reading in The Hobbit that the relationship between the Dwarves and the Elves had deteriorated after the glory days in Moria (Durin's time.) I wonder why and how exactly. Can anybody please explain?
