Why do I get locked in another topic?
For a while we have been trying to limit the number of new "Hello, I'm new" threads which have been popping up and taking over the boards. I think several have been locked, and a few bumped to the top in order to encourage newcomers to post in those rather than creating new ones.

Sorry Sjow - I did that. No harm done, it isn't a punishment or anything. As Val said it is just a way of keeping the Hi threads to a minimum.

Well Sjow, this would be very bad if that is truly the case for this board. The nrs of posts, imho does not say how important your are. I'd rather say: I value quality above quantity, so no matter how many postsyou have, all here are treated equally.
