He is a world champion figure skater. Before they moved out of "Amatuer" status, Brian Butano(sp?) and Canada's Brian Orser pretty much competed for the top 2 slots in the World's Men's Championships and the Olympics, often coined the "Battle fo the Brians". This is probably why you have seen reference to him on the made in Canada, South Park, Raptor.

I could be totally wrong since I`m not an American ( if that`s what Brian is), but isn`t he a famous american ice-skating star? That`s what I`ve heard..
