Thanks Luthien79, I wondered how to do that. It's a 'merkle' I haven't been attacked, now I am armed against that one too.
Thread: Alert! Virus on the rampage.

Thanks for warning me!
Doesn`t sound very good that virous.

Here's an article on it, for those interested:

Who are these loonies that write these viruses? They must be some severely lonely people...

Well said Prog, they think there making a feat of programing when in fact all there doing is annoying people and making life even more difficult than it already is.
Avril Lavigne, do you think it's a marketing ploy?

I read the article, but this doesn't sound that harmful... from what the article said, all it does is to delete your firewalls.
then again, i don't know what a firewall is...
Enlighten me please!

the only way of getting shut is to wipe your whole computer. No saving can be done as the virus will attach itself to the data and reinfect when you put that data back in your computer.

As you can see it is quite bad!
I fell rather doltish, and I am rather sure that when I do see the light, that it will be like a brick in the forehead.
So far all I have heard about it is that it attachs itself to the computer's data files... What does it do to the files? Transmit them somewhere? Delete them?
Chameleon, the rather slow lizard

Thanks for the warning Luthien79

My stepdad just informed me of the effects of this virus. Apart from destroying firewalls etc... it also copies your address book and sends copies of itself to everybody in there.
It rewrites your directory, ie, windows causing it to crash and delete files etc. It knocks off your connection to the net. It basically screws everything up.
You do not want to get this virus in your computer.
