People on this site come from all over the world, you can't expect them all to sit around and be able to write a reply exactly *now* just becuase you can.
If you want Tolkien related discussions, you've come to the right place, but what exactly do you want to talk about? If all that could be said about Tolkien's writings could be said in two minutes in one thread, this site wouldn't excist.
Also roam around in the forum and look at already excisting threads and share your thoughts on the matter. There is a LOT of good info in here.

And if you really need a real time discussion you might try our chat room via the link in the menu on the left, though there may not be anyone there at all times either. 
In our forums, just saying 'lets have a disscusion' usually won't cut it, one needs to add some fodder for the next person to work against, or for as the case may be.
