I started this thread because nobody else had! 
In the poll: 'Where would you like to live in Middle-Earth?' which location did you choose and why?
I chose Dale - well, Dale after the little business with the dragon - as you'd be living with humans but you'd get to see dwarves a lot of the time, and if you were a travelling kind of person (as I am), it's not too far to Mirkwood to see the elves. I can imagine Dale as a nice sort of place, really.
What about everyone else?
