A good way to answer that question for yourself would be to look into The Hobbit, there are some good examples of John Ronald Ruel Tolkien's poetry and of course prose to consider . Then read someone else you admire in the art of poetry, well perhaps two or three from different countries and who penned in different styles and then ask yourself that question. It would be interesting to find out what you discovered.
