Hello everyone.
I no longer have an address @ Hotmail.com.
Reason? Well... I was unfortunate enough to receive a Virus, known as
I-Worm/Netsky.B
please look out for this one! It was able to multiply & do 'it's thing' even with my having the AVG anti-virus system. It wouldn't let me online to upgrade the AVG system & I've only just got it sorted! (After a whole day & until 2am this morning in front of this thing!)
It came as an email from:
gateshead@signsexpress.co.uk/com
and had 'Stolen' in the subject line. Silly me opened it & although I didn't even open the attachment - it still got to my pc! Tsk-tsk - silly girl, I know!
The attachment was in .pif format, so please be careful. Anything from the above address - just bin it !!!
Please feel free to forward this mail onto everybody you know - ya never know who might be glad to have read it! As far as I know this I-Worm is pretty new so, spread the word!

This is my first night back after having something jump through my firewall. I'm not sure what I received, but it convinced my hard drive that it was full, which resulted in a machine shut down. I've only just got my email working again, but I had two messages warning me that I-Worm.Moodown.b had been detected in messages sent to me.
I've currently got a firewall and three virus checkers running, but after being forced offline for a week and half, I'm paranoid something else will jump through and do the same.
