I would love to go to this. When you register, there is an option to select the Tolkien website you are affiliated with and Planet-Tolkien is listed. So if you are able to go, remember to click on Planet-Tolkien. Wouldn't it be great if we had a lot of members attend? Big Smile Smilie

I already bought my tickets, and we are getting our hotel reservations soon, but me and my family are under Tolkien online, or TORC...

I have ordered my ticket for Gathering of the Fellowship, purchased a plane ticket and made my hotel reservations.

I think it's a shame that BD has got more members coming than PT. I whish, oh I truly whish I could come too. Then I would kinda be representing both Norway and Sweden, as Finland is already represented. Smile Smilie

I was actually planning to go to the Gathering until I discovered that the ticket cost more than I spend on cd's, books etc. for one year Sad Smilie
I really wanted to go, it's a once in a lifetime experience.. Very Sad Smilie

Well, the time is coming, and I was just curious as to who all will be attending? I think I have it in the bag, I just have to do a little more convincing with the folks, and I MIGHT be joining Nell and gimli in a little Tolkien-spirited fun!
If I do go, I will be in costume with a sword, so watch out! Big Smile Smilie

I just want to let everyone know that Luthien_79 won 3 awards for her artwork in the Art Contest at the Gathering of the Fellowship. Her painting of Shadowfax picked up 2 awards, one being best painting. Her work is well deserving of this recognition.

I also had the priviledge to meet her at the Gathering.
So take the time to visit her website and see for yourself why so many people at the Gathering loved her work

Well i had the privilage of meeting Nell, Mellie, Aire, Nell's son Spencer, and Luthien79. All were as crazy as I thought Wink Smilie
