Read Smilie The Hobbit Discussion Group Read Smilie will next be meeting on Sunday, 19 March 2006 at 7 PM GMT/UTC in our #bilbos-study chatroom. This week we will be discussing Chapters 4, 5, and 6 of The Hobbit, so read those chapters and drop in for the discussion led by our very own librarian, Rednell. Happy Elf Smilie

Last week we discussed the first three chapters of the book and if you would like to catch up with us, the log of that discussion is posted under The Hobbit Discussion Group near the bottom of the forum.

We invite you to join us even if you haven't been with us before and haven't read the previous discussion log; however, it would be best if you have recently read the current chapters or at the very least know what takes place in: Chapter 4 - Over Hill and Under Hill, Chapter 5 - Riddles in the Dark, and Chapter 6 - Out of the Frying-Pan into the Fire.

See you Sunday.

See you Sunday.
Since attendance has been too low, we have decided to postpone The Hobbit Discussion Group, until summer and probably on Saturdays when more people may be about.

This should give us a more workable schedule since Rednell will then have Saturdays off and we won't be interfering with church on the Pacific Coast or with Europeans having to be up early for school or work the next morning.

Thanks to everyone who have contributed to the discussion group and watch this space for an announcement in June.
