According to theonering.net (http://www.theonering.net/torwp/hobbitfaq/#1.3), the first film will release in 2011 (possibly on the 10th anniversary of FOTR?) and the second in 2012. There is no specific date yet, as they are using 2009 for pre-production and 2010 for filming. It'll be a while before they decide on a release date.
