Howdy ya'll, I'm new to this forum. A huge fan of JRR Tolkein, and of the LOTR prelude and trilogy. I was introduced to the books back in the late 70s along with the D&D world. As time has passed and interests have faded, Tolkeins writings continue to be my precioussss. :ugeek:

Hi Milo 8-) . Welcome to the forum. I read the books first back in the 70s too. I remember spending a lot of time playing D&D, Rune Quest, and even the Superhero roleplayer Champions :mrgreen: . Oh yeah, some great memories.

Great to have you, Milo! I can't reminisce with you, since I am only 17, so I'll leave that to GB. But we can all remember our first love of Tolkien together. <img src='/images/smileys/wink.gif' border='0' alt='Wink Smilie' />

So afraid I can't remember it either, but I've loved Tolkien since I was six (when I first read the Hobbit :mrgreen: )
