I just watched a video on youtube about Royd Tolkien who is J.R.R. Tolkien's great grandson. Apparently, he was a part of the making of the trilogy, and stared as a gondorian ranger in the third film. This video was from 2007 i think, and he was asked if there was a hobbit movie, would he take part in it....
This leads to my question. Now that the Hobbit is almost in full swing, I want to know if any of the tolkiens are going to be a part of it again, and whether any here thinks they should....
I for one, think that the tolkiens should be very involved with the films, especially the ones who have really taken to the family name. Who knows, it may have good benefits...
If any of JRRT's relatives desire, and more importantly are offered a cameo roll I doubt we will hear about it for a while. Filming is still a way off. <img src='/images/smileys/wink.gif' border='0' alt='Wink Smilie' />
