Quote:
Are Tolkien's other books (i.e. Farmer Giles) worth buying? Are they related to ME, or not, also?
Most of the poems in
The Tolkien Reader concern Middle-earth including
The Adventures of Tom Bombadil. Farmer Giles of Ham is a fun story and
Leaf by Niggle is a nice story; neither concerns Middle-earth, but both are also contained in
The Tolkien Reader. Smith of Wooten Major is another nice story that is not about Middle-earth, but somewhat concerns the interaction between faerie and the mundane.
I would buy them all again, and may have to look for
Smith of Wooten Major as I have not seen or read it for ages, in fact I don't even remember what storys were bundled with it.
