So enlighten us raptor, where do you live? I am not English, but American. I know that does not count towards your question, but ......

Transsylvania-not kidding....
Yes,yes........any of you got some spare blood? We're really running low on it.....

A fantastic region of the world! I have such wonderful memories from Sarmisegetuza in Orastie Mountains, Sibiu, Sebes, Alba Iulia...

WOW!You visited my country?Yay!Ever been to Cluj?(it's where I live!)

B*lgian here.

No, Raptor, I did not pass by Cluj...
Anyway, I will never forget my holidays in Transsylvania, an incredible region! I even started to learn a little Roumanian - from a book entitled "Vorbiti Romaneste?". All my memories and adventures I had there are now coming back. Some of them were so silly! But I also saw many breathtaking views and met nice people!

Hey Cirdan,
Welcome back, I have really missed you! I don't think we hav had a chat since the World Cup (when was that, anyway?).
I am Canadian. I have met a few Canadians in the chatroom but I don't think I have met any in the forum. Any other Canadians out there?

If you click on the Thread called Help on the Index page, Ringfacwen, and then open a Thread therein called Information for Newbies, you will find several useful tips for doing things/navigating the site etc. If you do get stuck, though, don't be afraid to ask.

I am 100% pure Bulgarian born in Russia though!
So acutally the right answer to ask is:Are there any english folks around here!

And the answer is a bunch, but probably only about ten percent, which is merely a guess. Check out the Where are you all from????? in The Prancing Pony Tavern to find out more.

Am I the only Australian here?
I guess my fellow countrymen are too busy watching the footy, turning the meat on the barbie and sinking a sixpack.

Just for the record: Andrea, here's your sentence in Dutch:
Liefde overwint alles.
And I can only agree with it.

I could try Russian here, but I don't think the characters will hold. So I won't try.
It just means about "Love will outlast everything" or something like that. But I'm afraid it's not really German, no... Not that my German is good, I used to hate German because it's so difficult! Anyway, I think it should be sth like: Liebe ’berwint alles. (or something like that anyway
)

Hi! I'm from Italy (I live near Venice)
Am I the only Italian here?
Am I the only Italian here?

Forget it, I thought I was the only Belgian around, but boy was I wrong! And Belgium really is a tiny country. So I guess there are other Italians and Turkish out there.

Well, I'm brazillian... The land of coffee... Soccer... That's all folks!

I think I'm the only Lancastrian here, I think I'm the only person who lives in Manchester as well!
I'm from Bury and Sort of proud of it, in that comical, it's an inbread yet technilogically advanced dump!

I am sure I am the only bulgarian here. And I am pretty sure I will be the only one.
Seems like bulgarians are not much of Tolkien fans...I don't know why
I wish there was at least one comrade in here but I guess I am out of luck.Well maybe it's better that way.You don't want to see two bulgarians in one place...it's a disaster

I`ll take your word for it!

It can't be that bad there's 8,191,000 of you!

What about a french-speaking German-Canadian?
Am I the first?

Well, you're the first when it comes to the German part, but I'm afraid I beat you by many months to the french speaking Canadian part!!

Well I'm Slovene... hiya
*waves*

I believe I'm like 1/8 or 1/4 swedish, I think 1/8. My papa's (my grandpa) parents lived in sweden then came to the U.S. i think, like immigrants so that means my papa is all swedish because his parents both were and that would make my mom 1/2 swedish because my gramma isn't swedish at all (German if you really want to know). So that makes me 1/4 swedish about because I don't know if my dad is swedish because he's adopted by his aunt and uncle, who are swedish, cause his real parents died.
But I don't live in Sweden I live in Minnesota!!
But I don't live in Sweden I live in Minnesota!!

Well, Romanian too here! I'm from Tulcea (small town in SE Romania), but I live in Bucharest (the capital) at the moment. I'm 1/4 Bulgarian (my grandpa was Bulgarian), yet I don't know one word of that language...
Russian, German, Cherikete, French, almost everything else you can think of. God bless America.

Ah yes, Crystle...America, the great melting pot...I live in the most beautiful part of Colorado (forgive me if I'm biased - I can't help it!!). I'm not only American but Irish, German, English (not much though, so I'm still allowed here!!!!), and Cherokee and Iroquis. We can't quite figure out whether my features and coloring came from the German or Irish side but the red Irish blood and the Native American are constantly fighting over my skin: I'm white in winter and brown in summer!!!!

I'm 1/2 Czech, 1/4 Scottish, 1/8 French and 1/8 German, but half my grandparents, my parents, and I were born in the USA.

I'm all woman.

Lady Vee, but surely your ALL Sasanach/Saesa too?
I'm ALL Welsh Beef!
Bluddy Engerlish, We almost had 'em in the Rugby.
And for those folks not edumacated properly on the geo-political state of the UK... Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland or Eire or NOT synonymous with Engerland!!! So i can sign in on this thread with a anglo-saxon free conscience.
