Quite correct Tommi! This fan club is not even supported by the webmaster or the council, but there have been no moves to shut it down, so I guess it is okay.
As for an official fan club; not as far as I know. But if elves seen in the background of The Council of Elrond in the movie can have their own website, I think it will only be a matter of time. If I had the $$$ I would start one myself

I have sometimes wondered whether they inherited this from their elven or dunedan ancestry. It ties in with the 'What colour was Legolas' hair' debate, and whether you think most elves are blonde or brunette.
This would be interesting when they arrive in Aman, and are consequently 'made all elf' (there is a quote to that but I cant find it at the moment). Would their hair change colour? If so, what to? Silver or gold?
