When you search for "Tolkien" with Google, PT is on the second page! Woohoo!

But we can do better! Google ranks pages according to the number of other webpages that link to them. So, if you all out there who have their own website add a link to PT, we might end up on the first page! Google is one of the most popular search engines, and this is a fantastic site that deserves some attention.

And after beating Google by offering 1GB storage with Shiremail, we can do with some more. Elk Grinning Smilie

Okay, newsflash. Google no longer uses the legendary linking technique, because it was so easy to cheat it using google bombs. Now it goes on your hit rate, so if you want to push PT up the ranking, just get all your friends to come here all day every day, cos I think it's on unique visits, rather than just the same guy logging in over and over again.
