Tolkien Library is a source for Tolkien book collectors. It has a descriptive and illustrated bibliography.
You can find all on Tolkien books, reviews and information on Tolkien as a writer.

It features a list of all Tolkiens works (which I am working on for years now, since it includes also all works with contributions by Tolkien), a list of all editions of The Hobbit (which is also a work in progress), a biography, reviews on new Tolkien books,... It will in the end give a description of all titles of Tolkiens work, show all editions whith major changes between them and keep track of prizing.

It allready features a guide to how to go and start collecting Tolkien books, where to buy them and what to look at...

This site is a work in progress and needs lot of time still... But all help is welcome ofcourse. Already by the rising number of visitors I am getting help with codings which should brings the first lists of books (gallery, list of all books in my library (over 2500 books today) + descriptions by the end of this year)...
I hope to make this... And then this website will become one of the most important guides on line for any one wanting to collect Tolkien books or try to find out exactly which book he owns...

Unfortunally i do all myself and so i have more ideas then i can realise... but then again... if i proceed every day. It will work out in the end!! Hope to find some helping 'minds' to do the descriptions of the books with me.

I'll do my very best do keep the content fresh and add items weekly! Hope the coding goes smoothly... so i can start adding things to the database. It will get much much better then (imagine all my 2500 Tolkien books shown and described in there!!)

Yeah Taz has seen a lot happening (especially the disputes)... i for sure run lot of sequal names aside so i can change whenever needed.
being a Belgian i hope to stay out of view of the Tolkien Estate and others.... but then again... i got permission of Harper Collins to reproduce the book covers... so i'm clear there!

Hope i can pull it of and really make a great site for all you Tolkien lovers... i guess after collecting Tolkien books for so long i needed to share it with all of you!

lol... happens to me every time...

He DID write a lot. But i am crazy enough to by every possible impression and edition of the same book over and over again. Plus i buy all books writing about Tolkien. That is how you get easely so many books. (plus it takes time)
