Greetings all!

I have for sale both of the original sets of Ted Nasmith Lord of The Rings ornamental plates.
There are 24 in all (12 per set), which have only ever been out of the boxes to photograph.
The artwork as most of you will already know is breathtaking, and depicts many scenes from all three books as they should be seen... not featuring Orlando Bloom and his buddies, but artistic representations of the characters exactly as you imagine them whilst reading the books.
I can provide photographs if you require, which show the plates and associated certificates of authenticity (many of which are low/early numbers).

The original cost of these limited edition Danbury mint plates was around ’45 each (’45 x 24 plates = ’1085).
I feel that these plates should be enjoyed by somebody who has a genuine love for the Lord of the Rings rather than a shop or general plate collector, hence i'm offering them for around ’250.
I wouldn't consider splitting the sets, as i'd like them to be sold together and kept together by someone that would look after them whilst getting lots of enjoyment from them.
