Now Val knows he was validated all along. Once an Orc always an orc.

Maybe if you move this up to the roleplaying guilds, more people would respond. I don't usually make it down this far when I am in the forums. I make so many post that by the time I get down here, I am too tired to think about what to say
I know what you are saying Mellie, but Roleplaying is traditionally done in dingy little backrooms late at night when players are either too tired or too drunk (substitute your own vice here) to realise the danger of their next step until the trap has sprung and taken off half their leg.
To be honest, the game started in this section and I never thought about moving it until now. Over here, I can keep several relevant threads together, which would be my arguement for keeping it here. If we can get it moving once more, participants will probably call in here first while they are fresh, before visiting the rest of the board.
As this is my first attempt at a cyber game, I am still getting used to a system with no dice or tables to determine actions, plus trying to get used to players not actually following the leads I place into the game. In the past I have always tried to lead players rather than push them into situations, trying to create the illusion that it was their idea all along. The danger is, however, they often choose not to follow, and end up going round and round in circles or disappearing into uncharted territory. Often with my old group, if I didn't give them a bit of a shove, they'd finish up fighting each other.

By the way I have updated my character a bit. instead of being an elf, since there are too many, I am now a gnome. Is that ok? I did not add a new post, just edited my old one. I have everything except for weapons. I have not decided about those yet. Let me know what you think and I will start trying to play.
No problems Mellie (actually I had no problem with the number of elves either). Just jump in whenever you feel fit. There's a party round Halo's at the moment, but be warned, you might finish up on the menu.
