Although im not an expert on this subject i do not believe that it is pronounced dwarve, dwarve is shortened from the plural dwarves. However i think it is supposed to be spelt Dwarf?

i thought it was suppose to pronounced Dwarf in singular form. For example Elves is spelled and pronounced Elf in singular form, 1 elf isn't pronounced Elve.
