Hello to both of you indeed. Waving Hello Smilie Welcome to our lovely little forum.
Hello Tom, Grondmaster, and Gothan7 Waving Hello Smilie Nice to meet you all!
'Tis a shame the vocabulary of wee creatures, like rodents, is of such limited extent, that they have to resort to the use of asterisks to express their opinions. Elf Sticking Tounge Out Smilie Elf With a Big Grin Smilie
I agree with those rules very much. Welcome Stonehelm and Gothan7! Hope you're having fun.

I was just about to express similar sentiments, Grondy. Big Smile Smilie

I seem to remember being told sometime that a truly good argument does not need to resort to profane or obscene language.

I for one am also tired of such language being used in the media to grab attention. Boring Smilie

There are also plenty of Tolkien sites where abuse is not only allowed, it is encouraged. A site that does not allow this kind of thing is like a breath of fresh air. It is one of the things that I really respect about PT.

Hello guys, and on the subject of watching our language, I have no problem with the rules. They're only there to stop us swearing. I can't resist such a cheap joke....

ROFLMAO!!

Oh, come on guys! IT WAS A JOKE! Ya know, funny ha ha?

Anyway, they're just words. I mean, if Shakespeare can say the word why can't I say it? The asterisks take care of the rest. Wink Smilie

(The above quote contained eight asterisked words and the above sentence had two non-asterisked bad words, all of which have now been removed.)
