Hullo. Don't you just love the power of Google? Whilst looking up the correct pronunciation of "Orcrist", I found a link to this website.
I've always loved The Lord of the Rings, but only recently have I actually read the books - over and over and over again. I received all of them, including The Hobbit, when I was 10... I was a little young to fully comprehend all the works, but I did manage to successfully read The Hobbit. I started The Fellowship of the Ring, but found it too hard to understand when I was but a wee lass, understandabley (if you catch my meaning).
I'm 14 now, and currently reside in Australia. Please don't follow the stereotype that I'm a stupid drongo that keeps a kangaroo on a leash. Because I don't. That is illegal here. (grins broadly)

I don't need to tell you much other than to point out the help/faq link in our horizontal menu and if you can't find there an answer to your question, just ask and one of us will provide it or point you to it, but do try to find a thread/topic or section that has something to with your subject. Orcrist is an elven name (orc-rist=goblin/orc cleaver). The vowel "i" in Elvish sounds like "ee", not "eye", so I guess 'orc-wrist' would be the most accurate of the options mentioned above.

Yes Orcrist is Sindarin as Amarie noted (Tolkien spelled it Orchrist in a text called Etymologies -- the word orch 'goblin' has the -ch- sound of German bach, not English church).
Amarie is also correct regarding the last vowel, as it should sound like the -i- in English machine. Appendix E to The Return of the King can help you with other pronunciations with respect to Elvish (trilled r and etc).
