And all here on the Board... Feanor Here... I love ALL of the Ring Cycle, but mainly 'The Silmarillion' and 'The Hobbit' especially as it was a dear book to me as I grew up. I Also Love the BBC Radio adaptations of The Hobbit and LOTR, which seem to me reasonable adaptations of the Mythos, halfway between the actual words and full blown visuals of the Films. One exception, unfortunately to this is the Deadly Dull, IMO, rendering of 'The Silmarillion' by Martin Shaw. But you can't have everything, can you ? Feanor, of course, is my favourite Character from the whole Rings Universe, and indeed I possess his Passion for the Models I make, but am struck as well, by his propensity for self-Destruction too... Hopefully I don't sound Like I love myself there either ! 'Cos I don't ! But I have to say a Big thanks to the Prof, and Christopher Tolkien, for giving us such a rich World to explore and Play in.
