Hello all!!
my name is Darren and I am from New Zealand, I live about five minutes away from Hobbiton!! I have been a huge fan of all of Tolkiens work since I was young, my father read me 'The Hobbit' when I was 11, since then ive been hooked!! I have now taken the love a step further and 'The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug' is the basis of my masters thesis. I am researching audience reactions to the 3D and HFR technologies showcased in DoS and how those techniques effect audiences engagement with the narrative.
