Just trying to make sense of it all :roll:;

^^Where does Mr Weaving fit into it all? :?: ^^

and what makes it confusing....

Ps, While Im making a thread, theres a LOTR art show on in Banbury, Im pretty close . Photos anyone?
Personally, the vibe I'm getting is that there is very poor communication between the actors and the production team. I think Serkis is out of the loop on this one. If Jackson is correct, Serkis hasn't even been asked to play Gollum yet, so Serkis is getting his news just like all of us. And this story seems to say that he's behind on his news.
So your second link is more true, I think. 2013 could have been expected, since this whole process has been going through so many bumps.
Thanks for the find!!

are you saying that you're going to the art show? If so, I'd love to see the pics!
I initially thought that Serkis was out of the loop, but as it turns out, the 2013 date is incorrect (see my LOUDLY named thread in this forum). However, I'm still not sure about the May filming date since the MGM situation will probably not be resolved in time. They recently got an extension on their loans until May, and might get more.
McKellen, Serkis, and Weaving have all been confirmed through unofficial comments by the actors and/or PJ and GDT. No actors are officially signed to the project yet, though, since it has neither a green-light nor a budget.
Ah, thanks Elderon.

Oh yes, and Beren, I would be more than happy to take photos, the poster looked pretty good anyway.
Brilliant :mrgreen: ! Not as bad as we thought I see. Although on the subject of cast Beren, heres a interesting little snippet from The Daily Contributors site;

[quote:adbsxpzj]Confirmed actors for the films are Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey, Andy Serkis as Gollum and Hugo Weaving as Elrond.

Dont know where they got that from though. :roll:
