Report says that Neil Blomkamp is going to direct the Hobbit. For those of you who don't know Blomkamp directed District 9, which PJ produced. How do people feel about NB as the director?

Ah, so that's what bumping is! Is there more Blomkamp news to discuss?
Is it just me, or is Neil Blomkamp a little bit camp? .... and what does "Blom" mean? It is German, isn't it?
As he's South African, his name is most likely Dutch.

What does "Blom" mean in Dutch? (I bet it's 'gay'). 'Blomkamp' would mean then something like: 'acts gay'. :ugeek:
I loved District 9. This is interesting news!
Some news on Blomkamp again, for those who haven't read it: http://www.theonering.net/torwp/2010/09 ... t-picture/ Not sure what I think of it to be honest. I'd love to see Jackson as director again, but I'm sure others might be happy with a change
I was very excited about Blomkamp back in June, and disappointe when other rumours said he wasn't directing, so I'm heartened by this news. I think he would do a better job thab Jackson, frankly.
