Thread: New Sherlock Holmes Movie
I watched it on my 26 inch widescreen and wasn't impressed.
My TV may be set too dark, for I had a hard time seeing what was going on and I used English subtitles to hear the muffled voices.
I haven't seen it but from what I can tell Robert Downey's Sherlock Holmes resembles the original in name only.
He's gone from a quiet, intelligent pipe smoking intellectual to a Drunken, whoring fop.
I agree with you about the sound and colour of movies these days Grondy. The picture is so dark you can hardly see anything and normal conversation is so subdued it's a barely audible mumble so you turn it up and then an action scene comes on and the sound blasts you from your seat and leaves you temporally deaf.
