Isumbras = the first name of the 13th, the 23rd, and the 28th Thains of the Shire.

Thorin: "Ranugad Galbasi" is the Gaffer, that was his name "in the original language of the Hobbits". JRRT "translated" that name into English as "Hamfast Gamgee". Tolkien's point of view within the Legendarium was that he did not write or create these stories, rather he simply translated them into English, from the Red Book of Westmarch.
