Are they not just to your left when you are writing your post, Eryan? There should be a box titled "postBody" with ten of the little critters looking at you. Just click on one and he should appear, or click on "More smilies..." to get loads more. Or have you got your smilies disabled?(Here I would like to put some particularly funny smiley, but somehow I cannot yet find out how to insert them!!!).

Eryan: 1) Place your cursor where you want the smilie. 2) Click on the More smilies... link, there to the left of the edit box. 3) Choose a smilie from the list that meets your whimsy and click on it. Voila, the word surrounded by colons will be placed in your text. You can use the preview button to see how it looks. Don't close the smilies' window for you may wish to use another one in a subsequent post.

Thank you Val. Grondy!!!
Well let's see how it works!!!
:grn:
Now I will submit it and see what happens...
I also remarked that I cannot anymore edit my posts (the button "edit" disappeared). How can we now edit and correct our posts????

hurray. my 23rd post.....yay. (notice my dull, bland voice)

wahoo I hit 2000 posts today, and all I can say is that it was a hell of a lot of work, as I wasn't trying to be a 'posting freak', but just doing my normal duty.

Yea Grondy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Prog I have caught up with you we are now even. but I am going to bed. I won't pass you today. lol

Well, if we are speaking about numbers of posts, what is the criterion of becoming a Council Member? I thought it is based on the number of posts, but now I remarked that Valledhelgwath is a Council Member with his 490 posts, but Ungoliant with her over 1000 posts is still a Regular! (like poor me, with my 420 posts)....

I just remarked still one alarming thing, if one submits too many posts, one may become a Posting Freak instead of a Council Member!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I reached my 32767!!!!

Ahhh I'll be fair, let's make it 20001

Wow, Taz!!!!!! That is a lot of post!!!!!!!!!!
Just out of curiosity, why is there nothing between 300 and 1000? Are we stuck at Regulars forever?

There should be a change round about the 600 mark however all the user ranks are being re-designed by the council as we speak so expect it to change dramatically

Yippeeeee!!!! Never ever thought Id ever make it, but here I am.
1000 posts!! and all of them real ones too!

Wow! Congrats Allyssa! I gotta hurry up and cross the 2000 mark soon, otherwise you'll all catch up with me and I'll no longer have the right to claim the title of posting freak.
Doing my best, you can't deny that!

Actually being a Council Member, Eryan. Well, if we are speaking about numbers of posts, what is the criterion of becoming a Council Member?

Looks like I've just topped the 500 mark tonight too. Lots of milestones being made this week.

Yea Allyssa and Val !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo! POst no (see left for details) I stopped caring about a year ago after the forum dies for the 999999th time and I had to crawl my way up again.
Good healthy number there Taz. Cheating like I did way back are you (thanks for the help back then by the way)

Having crossed the mark of 2000 posts, I'll remain silent for just now.
Hmmm. Thought I had earned myself a pretty new title, but I haven't. Still a steward.

But without the cigar! I'd imagine like all other baby's, she looks like Winston Churchill.

I imagine she really looks like a loverly baby girl, not some old wrinkled bulldog.

Most newborns have puffy skin and cone-heads. Immediately after birth, they are blue-ish and kinda messy.
They are the most beautiful things their parents have ever seen.
Please send us a pic, Gnampie! I love babies!

Awww...babies.. So cute!
Congratulations!!

Babies are yucky

Have to agree with Taz there actually, and they don't get any better until they can legally buy a drink in a pub if you ask me.

/me thinks Taz and The Squirrel would both make wonderful daddys

Don't even joke about it Allyssa. I have no intention of ever ever doing such a foolish thing. I'm far too selfish.

Babeis are cute. It's when they starty teehting and drooling when they become yukky.

They are still cute then, if they are yours, Tommie. Its all those other peoples' babies that are 'yucky' during those messy periods. Of course I've never met a parent who enjoyed teething.

Hrrmm. Yeah suppose you're right. Though I can't imagine me being a parent for one of those drooly little things.
It's just me, never mind. :babygul:

Mine had a habit of chewing my books when he was teething. I'd come home from work to find them either nibbled or covered in puddles of baby slobber. Not a time that I enjoyed.Of course I've never met a parent who enjoyed teething.

/me quietly slips some extra-strong fertility drugs into Plastic's cofee.

I hope you both have great days.

That's cruel......but funny.

I don't think so, she'd kill me.

Thank you, everyone. It really is much appreciated.
