Thank you 2 so much. In Texas, however it is still the 26th. Guess I get to celebrate my birthday longer than most people.

I have a wonderful day planned for tomorrow. NO son, no hubby for most of the day. Just a quiet day, and then hopefully lunch with my mom, and when when Matthew and Robbie get home they will take me to dinner someplace nice, or make a really nice dinner here. I am going to take a 3 hour bath and relax and not worry if Robbie has had enough to eat or has enough activities to keep him busy. I am also planning on finishing the Harry Potter Book and another one that I have started as well.

Thank you so much everyone for the great wishes for my Birthday. I can't say that I had a great day, but ..... I can say that it will be one of the most memorable Birthdays that I have ever had in my life.

Don't wait for a slap Val! Actuallly, I laugh when someone takes me for an older person than I really am, it's so unusual! But it happens, of course! Once when I was still a student I was having a long walk in the countryside with my two friends. It was December, fioggy and icy cold, so we were clad in heavy clothes and muffled to the ears. We were supposed to walk first and then to take a bus for the final 17 kilometres, but we missed the bus and so we faced the necessity to walk these 17 km as well, in the cold, unpleasant evening, while we were already very tired. So I deided to start to stop cars and to my delight I succeeded to make stop a police car! The poliicemen took us in and then when they had a closer look on my face one of them exclaimed "Well I never! If i'd know that it's you I'd never stop! But I thought that it was Old Manka, stopping the car!". "HOw old is that Old Manka?" I asked, curiously "Oh, at least seventy years old" answered the policeman cheerfully.
And you have now missed the mark just by two years -it's nothing! Smile Smilie

Mellie, I am myself shocked to be 48, I do not feel that old! But time runs and we cannot do anything about it! What I really regret when I'm thiking about my age is that during so many long years I had no Internet and no video camcorder.. How many things I missed because of that! Another nasty and sad thing about being old is that you realise that you do not have anymore before you a whole lifetime to realise your dreams. But a good thing is to realise that time is the most precious treasure - this makes you enjoy every moment of it! Now very simple pleasures can make me extremely happy. A tree just outside my window is now no more dull and ordinary, but rare, mysterious and precious - and green light in its leaves is beautiful as a rare, magic jewel... It's so funny, actually I was much sadder when I was young!

I can really empathise with that one, Eryan. Not having enough time in which to do everything I want to do is bad enough, but it really annoys me when I get stuck somewhere and finish up totally wasting a few hours.
