To be honest about the whole Ronaldo argument, if you sign a contract and originally agree in the first place to be there for a certain amount of time, then you should stick to it... Fergie is made to look like the bad guy because he is purely showing the contract that Ronaldo signed at the beginning of his career with Manchester United... One amazing season doesn't make you King of the World to do as you wish... But he is still one amazing player, I applaud him for his success

Manchester United won the Community shield yesterday for the second year running after beating Portsmouth 3-1 on penalties. The score was 0-0 after 90 minutes and went directly to penalties once normal time was over.

Yesterday England thrashed Croatia 4-1 in Zagreb with 3 goals from walcott, two being set up by Rooney, and he him self scored 1. Hope they continue on this form.

I'm ever so grateful that Norwegian results wasn't mentioned. I bet we'll win every international championship, in Ludo that is!

We finally have a major league football (soccer) team starting this year,
the Seattle Sounders FC (which stands for football club) and Drew Carry is a part owner. So far they are 7-3-1 and play an away game against the Toronto FC Saturday.

Man Utd has won the title for a record equaling 18 times and has also completed their second hat trick of titles. And we have also reached the final of the C1 again.

Yes Grondy. In all the time I've watched United play the final against Barcelona is the worst ever performance I've seen!
Was the fix in; were they hung-over; was their water tainted; or didn't they just give a damn? 
Well, yesterday with a 2 to 1 win over Dallas, my MLS Seattle Sounders FC ended their first regular season 12-7-11, which was good enough to make the playoffs this year. They currently stand second in the western conference to Los Angeles 12-6-12. And they didn't do too poorly in their exhibition games against some of the major European teams this past summer.
Well my Seattle Seahawks aka: Sea-Turkeys American NFL football team again had little offense and even worst defense so we lost today to the Dallas Cowboys at Dallas and their referees 38 to 17. We play the Detroit Lion next Sunday.
However in real footie, my MLS Seattle Sounders FC fought to a 0-0 draw with the Houston Dynamo in the first Western Conference Semifinal in Seattle last Thursday. We will play them again in the second Western Conference Semifinal in Houston next Sunday.

Well, the Seattle Sounders FC were beaten 1 to zip by the Houston Dynamo Sunday 9 minutes into an overtime period, so the Dynamo advances into the MLS Western Division finale and the Sounders are done for the year. Still the Sounders' record of 2-1-2 against the Dynamo in their five meetings this year wasn't bad for a first year club. Did I mention Drew Cary is a minor owner of the Seattle Sounders FC.
So, Sunday I watched lowly Real Salt Lake win the Major League Soccer Championship Cup over the Los Angeles Galaxy in a penalty kick shoot-out 5-4 after playing to a 1-1 tie after the regulation 90 minutes and a 30 minute overtime. The game was played in Seattle with 45,000 in attendence, but I watched it on TV. Poor David Beckman only got an assist as he hobbled around on a sore foot the entire game. I'm your typical American, because I also hate low scoring tie games and penalty shoot-outs are like kissing your sister. Yuck!!!

Yeah, they've been pretty poor this season in the league and the cup! And to think that they blew up an 8 points lead over City!
